Round Rock, Tx. – The Round Rock Chamber announced today that Virginia-based, Knowmadics Inc., has opened its first Texas office in Round Rock. Knowmadics will occupy space in Office Evolution, a co-working concept located along I-35 near downtown Round Rock.

Knowmadics is a high-growth technology company with a cybersecurity focus specializing in software, integrated solutions and training for the defense sector. Knowmadics’ selection of Round Rock for its expansion adds to the city’s fast-growing defense innovation industry.

“We are looking forward to growing as a member of the business-friendly community here in Round Rock,” said CEO and co-founder of Knowmadics, Paul Maguire. “We cannot think of a better place in the southwest to continue our expansion. The local Chamber and elected officials made it easy for us to make this decision.”

“I am excited to welcome Knowmadics to Round Rock in Texas’ 31st congressional district,” said U.S. Representative John Carter (TX-31). “As a member of the Defense Appropriations Committee, I want to see our military have the resources they need on and off the battlefield, so it’s important to cultivate and welcome talented companies to Central Texas, right down I-35 from Army Futures Command. Knowmadics has made a great strategic choice in expanding to our community.”

Round Rock has identified the defense industry as a strategic target for recruitment due to the city’s abundant veteran and military workforce and proximity to both Army Futures Command headquarters and U.S. Army post, Fort Hood. The Round Rock Chamber has developed a comprehensive strategy to attract defense companies looking to relocate or expand.

“Round Rock’s pro-business climate, innovative talent and strategic location make the city a prime location for defense industry companies,” said Mayor Craig Morgan. “As a community with a rich history of innovation, we welcome Knowmadics to the city of Round Rock.”

“We are grateful Knowmadics recognizes the benefits and ease of doing business in Round Rock,” said Round Rock Chamber’s President & CEO, Jordan Robinson. “Attracting defense innovation companies is a strategic goal of the Chamber, and Knowmadics is another company to add to a growing list.”
